Is MedKeep free?
Yes — completely free for personal use. No credit card, no time limit, no hidden fees.
How do I add my first medication?
After signing in, tap "Add Medication" on the Home screen. Choose "Take a Photo" — our AI reads your pill bottle label and fills in all details automatically.
Does MedKeep work on my phone and computer?
Yes. MedKeep works on any device with a web browser — phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.

How does the photo feature work?
Tap "Add Medication" → "Take a Photo," then point your camera at the pill bottle label. Our AI reads the text and pre-fills all the details. You confirm before saving.
Can I edit a medication after adding it?
Yes. Open the medication, tap "Edit Details," make your changes, and save.
What if I stop taking a medication?
Open the medication and tap "Remove." It's deleted from your active list.
Reminders
How do dose reminders work?
When you add a medication, you set its frequency and time of day. MedKeep sends a notification at those times. Mark the dose taken from the notification or inside the app.
How does MedKeep know when I need a refill?
You enter how many days of supply you have when adding a medication. MedKeep counts down based on your dose schedule and alerts you 7–10 days before you run out.
Privacy & Security
Who can see my health information?
Only you. Your health data is encrypted end-to-end — even MedKeep's own team cannot read your records.
Where is my data stored?
All MedKeep data is stored on servers in Canada. It never crosses the border. We are fully PIPEDA compliant.
Can I download or delete all my data?
Yes to both. Settings → Export my data to download everything. Settings → Delete my account to permanently delete all data.

I forgot my password.
On the sign-in page, tap "Forgot password?" Enter your email and we'll send a reset link, valid for 24 hours.
Is MedKeep available in French?
Yes — use the EN/FR toggle in the top navigation bar on any page to switch to French instantly.
