How to set up MedKeep for a family member

Create an account for them
Go to MedKeep.ca, tap "Get Started Free," and use their email address. Takes about 2 minutes.

Add their medications by photo
Gather their pill bottles and use the camera feature. Point the phone at each label — MedKeep reads everything automatically. About 30–60 seconds per bottle.

Set up reminders
Turn on dose reminders and refill alerts in Settings. Notifications can go to their phone, yours, or both.

Show them the basics
Show them how to mark doses taken and find the pharmacy call button. Most people are comfortable within a single session.

Privacy note for caregivers: Each person's MedKeep account is private to them. Health data is encrypted and only the account holder can access it. MedKeep is designed to be a tool the person uses themselves — with support from caregivers they choose to involve.
